The best strategy is to stay far away from it and launch as many projectiles as possible toward its teeth and eyes, which will deal critical damage. Use the surrounding terrain to dodge its attacks, and cycle through your pals to keep them alive when they have Grizzbolt’s attention.
Decide how big of a structure you want and keep in mind that you can always add on to it as you progress. Don’t forget to add a fire to your base which will help with warmth and cooking. If you do end up close to Grizzbolt, whether it’s because Grizzbolt sprinted toward you or because you’re insisting on meleeing it to death, manage your stamina well and be prepared to dodge the moment Grizzbolt winds up for an Electric Pulse. Dodging in Palworld has plenty of invulnerable frames that are primarily front-loaded, meaning the beginning is always invulnerable while the latter part is extremely vulnerable. While the timing may vary between moves, the common pattern is that Grizzbolt will cover its face to charge first, and then launch its attack. Hold your dodge until you see Grizzbolt move toward you first, and then react to that movement.
This is a Pal that can easily spawn in your starting area without even needing to go out of your way. You will most likely just encounter it whenever you are out at night. With this Pal in toe, it can act like a radar when you are out hunting any of the previously mentioned Pals. This will be even more useful when you are hunting rare Pals going into the later portions of the game — but is just as useful early on.
